The rally on October 15th was a rousing success in notifying Scott Walker that we are going to fight for our jobs. We also notified the County Board that we are watching them, and expect them to be the adults in County Government and correct Walker’s malicious and short-sighted budget proposal. The Board had heard us, and restored many of the jobs that Walker wanted to privatize.

Now the time is for us to make the final push. The County Board is set to adopt their budget on Monday, November 10th. You need to call your County Board Supervisor, and tell him or her that you are watching them and that you want them to restore the rest of the jobs.

Scott Walker cannot and will not be allowed to launch his 2010 gubernatorial campaign off of our backs!

After the Board passes the adopted budget, Walker will veto the greater part of it, if not all of it. It is imperative that we again contact the Board via phone calls, emails and/or letters to again encourage them to do the right thing for the workers and for our clients.

You can find the contact information for your Supervisor at or by calling
