Action Alert

Posted by Chris Liebenthal on July 15, 2010

We are having our kickoff for the November election cycle with the Labor Council on Saturday, July 24th at 9:00am.  We will be meeting at the Labor Council Office on 633 S Hawley Road for coffee and donuts before we go to knock on members’ doors.  The Labor Council has also booked State Senator Jim Sullivan to come and speak about his candidacy to the members.  Of course once we’re done talking to members we will have freshly grilled bratwursts waiting for everyone at the office.

This is a vital election cycle for AFSCME.  Public employee jobs are under attack and we need your help to elect candidates that understand the vital role AFSCME plays in the community.  To sign up please email or call me (all my contact information is below).  Thanks, hope to see you out there!
